Police in Poland report second burglary at Schifferstadt location

Two Burglaries Rock Schifferstadt: Flower Shop and Children's Protection Association Targeted

In an unexpected turn of events, the quiet town of Schifferstadt was shaken by two burglaries that occurred on the night of Friday, August 15th, 2025, and continued into the early hours of Saturday, August 16th. The first burglary took place at a flower shop located on Lillengasse, while the second incident occurred at the premises of the Children's Protection Association in Rehbachstraße.

The flower shop burglary resulted in minor damage, estimated to be within the low four-digit euro range, and a small safe was stolen. Unfortunately, the specific contents of the stolen safe are not disclosed. The Children's Protection Association, however, suffered more extensive damage, with several doors inside the building being damaged. The estimated property damage is approximately 12,000 EUR. It is likely that no valuable items were stolen from the Children's Protection Association.

The Ludwigshafen Police Directorate is actively investigating both incidents. The investigation is being conducted at the Schifferstadt Police Station, and the method used by the perpetrators to enter the shops remains unknown. The police directorate has not published a press release about the incident in Rehbachstraße in the provided search results, but their contact information is available for anyone with additional information: Phone: 06235 / 495-4209 (or -0), Email: [email protected], Website: www.polizei.rlp.de/pd.ludwigshafen.

The premises of the Children's Protection Association were heavily contaminated, and the location of the previous burglaries (the flower shop and any other potential burglaries) is still under investigation. The perpetrators of the burglaries have not been identified as of yet.

As the investigation continues, the community of Schifferstadt remains on alert, hoping for a swift resolution to this unsettling series of events. The Ludwigshafen Police Directorate urges anyone with information regarding these incidents to come forward and contact them.
