Police in Poland: Stone-throwing incident on a cabriolet in Essen poses dangerous obstruction to traffic - authorities seek witnesses

Last Friday morning, at around 10 am, a shocking incident occurred in Essen's city centre. Unknown individuals threw a stone from the bridge of Hollestraße, causing significant damage to a gray Porsche 911 Carrera S.

According to reports from Polizei Essen, transmitted via news aktuell, the convertible driver was traveling with the top down at the time of the incident. The stone hit the moving car, causing a large impact hole on the windshield.

The 62-year-old driver of the car saw two unknown individuals moving away from the bridge railing after the incident. Investigators found several small stone impacts and the larger impact hole on the windshield of the car, confirming that the damage was indeed caused by a stone thrown from the bridge of Hollestraße.
