Police intervention during rap music video production at Frankfurt train station
On Saturday evening around 9:50 PM, a large police response was triggered in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel due to an unannounced rap video shoot. Witnesses reported seeing a group of people, later identified as Gzuz and Bonez MC, wearing balaclavas and pointing what appeared to be pistols in a parking garage on Mainzer Landstraße.
Upon arrival, the police discovered that the group was self-proclaimed rappers filming a music video. However, they did not have the required permit for the video shoot, and they did not inform the responsible precinct about the event.
During the inspection, the police seized additional weapon-like objects, including a telescopic baton and a knife. Proceedings were initiated for violations of the weapons law in relation to the incident.
Following the measures taken by the police, the self-proclaimed rappers were allowed to leave the filming location. The video recording was not continued following the police intervention.
The police have since initiated proceedings in relation to the incident. It is unclear at this time whether any charges will be filed against Gzuz and Bonez MC.
