Police Officer Attacker Detains Two Officers in Leonberg; Causes Injuries
A 30-year-old man is currently under investigation by the Leonberg Police Station for resisting arrest and assault, following an incident at a shopping center on Leonberger Street, Ludwigsburg.
On August 13, 2025, the unnamed man was uncooperative during an official conversation at the shopping center. As the situation escalated, he became increasingly aggressive, shouting at the officer and later at a shopping center security guard.
The man refused to comply with a request to leave and physically resisted when the police officers tried to escort him out. During the altercation, he punched two police officers, aged 26, causing injury. The man also damaged one of the officers' glasses, estimated to cost around 300 euros.
Both officers were injured during the incident and are currently unable to work.
