Police officer injured during pursuit of suspects following break-in at a kiosk, with one of the suspects reportedly inflicting a bite wound.

Four unknown intruders burglarized a kiosk on Von-der-Mark Street, and the incident occurred during the night between Wednesday and Thursday (17th July, 2:17 AM). Consequently, the police department sent numerous patrol vehicles to the location.

In the city of Duisburg, a 19-year-old individual found himself in the midst of legal proceedings following an incident that occurred on Thursday (17 July). The suspect, who has a history of numerous offenses but whose previous crimes were not specified, appeared before the District Court Duisburg at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office Duisburg.

According to reports, the 19-year-old, along with three other suspects aged 15 to 19, was apprehended near Auf dem Damm / Marktstraße around 6:10 AM. Two of the suspects kept watch while two others committed the act. The 19-year-old offered significant resistance during arrest.

The alleged incident involved the manhole cover and kiosk window. A 17-year-old witness reported seeing two individuals throwing a manhole cover into a kiosk window. The 19-year-old suspect is currently in custody, and further details about his criminal charges are not provided in this paragraph. However, it is known that the current charges are related to this incident.

The suspect's behaviour during his arrest and subsequent court appearance was aggressive, insulting, and threatening towards officers. In addition, he attempted to spit at a police officer and bit an officer on the arm. As a result, the injured officer was treated at a hospital and was unable to continue his duties.

A doctor took several blood samples from the 19-year-old suspect, under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office Duisburg, due to suspicion of alcohol and drug consumption. The judge who presided over the trial of the 19-year-old on Friday is Judge Koppenleitner.

It is noteworthy that the 19-year-old suspect does not have a fixed residence, and his offenses may have been the reason for this. The authorities are yet to release more information regarding the suspect's future court appearances and the charges he will face in a criminal court, alongside his accomplices.
