Police operation in BPOLI C leads to discovery of a man in possession of 56 Ecstasy tablets
On August 18, 2025, a 33-year-old German citizen was checked by joint forces of state and federal police at Annaberg-Buchholz station. The individual, whose name has not been disclosed, arrived via a regional train from Chemnitz.
According to the Federal Police Inspectorate Chemnitz, the man was found to be in possession of illegal substances and a one-handed knife. The search results revealed that he had 56 ecstasy pills and other drug-related items.
The incident occurred at 12:45 PM, and the man was handed over to state police for further processing. Charges were filed against him for violating the Weapons Act and the Narcotics Act.
