A robbery and shooting incident took place in a parking garage in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties neighbourhood on Saturday night.

According to reports from Philadelphia Police Inspector D F Pace, the incident occurred around 11 p.m., along the 700 block of North Front Street. The victim, a 45-year-old man, was robbed of his personal belongings and was shot once in the leg.

The victim was quickly transported to Jefferson Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. The exact nature of the robbery and the items stolen from the victim are not specified.

The suspect in the incident is described as a man wearing a distinctive denim jacket. No further details about the perpetrator have been released. The ongoing investigation is focused on identifying the suspect.
