Traffic Accident in Delmenhorst: No Injuries but Significant Damages

In an early morning incident on January 1, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in Delmenhorst, causing considerable property damage. The accident took place at around 4:45 AM, approximately at the height of Lethestraße.

The incident involved two vehicles: a small car and a nearly new Skoda. According to the investigation, the small car, driven by a 36-year-old man from Oldenburg, was travelling on Adelheidstraße towards the city center. For unknown reasons, the driver veered off the road to the left and collided frontally with a parked Skoda, which belonged to a 66-year-old resident.

The impact was severe, causing both vehicles to become unroadworthy. The small car was pushed against another parked Mercedes as a result of the impact. Fortunately, no persons were injured in the accident.
