The West Palatinate Police Headquarters has confirmed the discovery of nails and screws on Rosenhof Street in Enkenbach-Alsenborn, Kreis Kaiserslautern, on Wednesday evening around 6:30 PM.

Three vehicle owners on Grünstadter Street were reportedly affected by tire damage, but no reports have been received from road users who have suffered damage due to the sharp objects. The police patrolled the street course and the adjacent bike path up to the "Elephant roundabout" and secured a large number of screws and nails.

Similar incidents involving damaged tires due to nails were reported in the Alsenborn district at the beginning of November. Whether there is a connection between the current find in Rosenhof Street and the incidents in Alsenborough is under police investigation.

The identities of the person(s) who possibly placed the nail and screw anchors on Rosenhof Street are not publicly known. The police are encouraging tips from witnesses about suspicious persons who may have distributed the objects. Any information can be sent to the West Palatinate Police Headquarters Press Office at the email address [email protected] or by phone at 0631 369-1080 or -0.

Affected parties are asked to contact the Police Inspectorate 1 at telephone number 0631 369-2150. For more information, please visit the Police of Rhineland-Palatinate's website at www.polizei.rlp.de/westpfalz.
