Disarstar, the popular rapper whose real name is Gerrit Falius, released his latest album "Hamburger Uprising" on Friday. One of the standout tracks on the album is "Siamo Tutti," a song that has been streamed over 6.7 million times on Spotify.

The album, which also includes the popular anti-fascist track, reflects Disarstar's political leanings. He identifies as a Marxist and advocates for democratic socialism, distinguishing himself from social democratic capitalism. However, he does not align himself with any particular political party.

Disarstar's political views are evident in his social media interactions. He follows many left politicians on Instagram, and they reciprocate the follow. Despite this, he does not engage with the Left Party, citing his criticism of their voting results, particularly on the wealth tax.

Interestingly, Disarstar's Instagram following practices mirror those of Heidi Reichinnek, the leader of the Left party faction. Both artists follow the rule of not following anyone who does not follow them first. This is the reason why Reichinnek does not follow Disarstar yet, but if she were to be followed by him, she would follow him back within 30 seconds.

Despite his political awareness and critical stance towards certain policies, Disarstar finds it unserious to be harnessed to a party-political wagon. He prefers to maintain his non-partisan stance, focusing on his music and advocacy for democratic socialism.

In a recent statement, Disarstar expressed his admiration for some of Reichinnek's Instagram posts and her takes, but he is not fully convinced by the Left Party's practices. This ambivalent stance towards the Left Party does not seem to affect his music or his advocacy for democratic socialism, which continues to resonate with his fans.
