On Saturday, September 6th, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, SPD Chairwoman Barbel Bas, will meet with representatives of our region's welfare associations and employment market policy holders. This closed-door meeting is not a public event.

The gathering is set to take place at the Visiodrom's experience world, and Dr. Johannes Slawig, the CDU district chairman for our region, along with mayoral candidate Matthias Nocke, have invited the attendees.

The primary focus of the meeting will be to discuss participation in the job market, a topic of great importance in the current economic climate. It's worth noting that the federal government has recently cut significant funds in this area, making the discussion even more crucial.

Minister Bas has been actively engaging in stakeholder and expert talks connected to the Social State Commission she set up. This commission is dedicated to the reform of tax-financed social benefits. The meeting on Saturday is a continuation of these discussions, aiming to find solutions that benefit all parties involved.

This meeting underscores Minister Bas's commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration between the government, social partners, and associations to address the challenges facing our labor market and social welfare system.
