Politics intersects with artistry
On Monday, September 8, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the GAL voter community will be hosting an engaging event titled "Art meets Politics" at the Chaostheorie Creative Workshop in Lübeck.
Located on Lübeck's old town island at Dankwartsgrube 65, the Chaostheorie Creative Studio, run by artist Julia Mosiniak, serves as a hub for encounters and exchange. Since its opening in early May, the studio has been offering various creative workshops, including pottery, painting, tufting rugs, tooth gems, and fake freckles.
For this special event, attendees can look forward to clay sculpting and tufting rugs demonstrations. The GAL will be represented by Juleka Schulte-Ostermann (a member of the state parliament), Katja Mentz (active in local politics for 25 years), and Ronald Thorn (joined the GAL four years ago through his engagement in the parents' council).
The purpose of the event is to create new encounters and to show that local politics can be fun, especially for art and culture. The discussions will focus on Lübeck's local politics and the realization of a street art festival in Lübeck.
Interested parties are welcome to attend, but spaces are limited. Registrations can be made at [email protected]. Photos for the event are provided by the Chaostheorie Creative Studio, capturing the unique blend of art and community engagement that the studio embodies.
Join us on September 8 for an unforgettable evening of art, politics, and meaningful dialogue at the Chaostheorie Creative Workshop in Lübeck. Let's celebrate the intersection of creativity and civic engagement!
