Porsche unveils the Black Edition of Taycan 4S in India, priced at INR 2.07 crore, featuring numerous updates.
The Porsche Taycan 4S Black Edition has made its debut in India, joining the ranks of the exclusive Black Editions of the Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe. This special variant of the electric car retains the same powertrain as the standard version of the Taycan 4S sedan.
Powering the Taycan 4S Black Edition is a dual motor setup, churning out a combined output of 590 bhp power and 710 Nm of maximum torque. The car is equipped with a 105 kWh battery pack, which, while comparable to the Porsche Macan EV in terms of capacity, offers a slightly shorter range.
The Taycan 4S Black Edition shares the same battery capacity with the Mercedes-Benz EQE, but its range falls short. However, the car more than makes up for it with its stealthy, high-gloss black styling. The exterior features high-gloss black accents on the headlamps, badges, front bumper, side skirts, diffuser, window surrounds, exterior mirror caps, and 21-inch aero wheels. The interior boasts exclusive two black Race-tex (Alcantara/leatherette) trim choices and dual monotone leather options.
The car is equipped with a host of features, including a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, four-zone climate control, a Bose sound system, and 14-way power-adjustable front seats. For added style, the Taycan 4S Black Edition offers optional puddle lamps that project the Porsche brand logo.
The headlights of the Taycan 4S Black Edition have a smoky finish, adding to its sleek appearance. The car supports rapid charging via a 320 kW DC fast charger, ensuring swift refuelling when on the go.
The Porsche Taycan 4S Black Edition can sprint from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds, demonstrating its impressive performance capabilities. The car's price in India is approximately ₹ 1.67 Cr.
