New Claas Jaguar 1000 Forage Harvester Series Unveiled
Powerful Claas Jaguar 1000 Farm Machine: High-Power Field Cutter Delivering Over 1000 Horsepower - Capable of Handling 500 Tonnes of Crop Per Hour
Claas, a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery, has announced the launch of its new Jaguar 1000 field harvester series. The highlight of the series is the Jaguar 1200 model, delivering 1,100 PS of power.
Dr. Michael Wellenzohn, the person responsible for leading the development of this new harvester, has ensured that the new series boasts several features designed to increase efficiency and comfort for the driver.
Enhanced Efficiency and Reduced Wear
A separate pump drive increases efficiency and reduces wear in the new harvester. Power is transmitted directly to the cutter drum and corn cracker via a belt, thanks to the new MAN V12 engine. The V-FLEX cutter drum ensures uniform cutting lengths even with large crop volumes.
Improved Driver Comfort
The low-noise cab, assistance systems such as Cemos Auto Performance and Auto Crop Flow, and the joystick steering system enhance driver comfort. The intelligent all-wheel drive ensures traction even under difficult conditions.
New Header Equipment
The new header equipment includes the pick-up 3000, 3800, and 4500, and Orbis maize headers with up to 14 rows. These new header equipment offer variable, independent drives and automatic adjustment via Cemos Auto Header or Auto Contour.
Live Yield Mapping and AI-based Analysis
From 2026, live yield mapping via the Cemis 1200 will be available. Via the Claas Connect system, an AI-based analysis determines the CSPS value (Corn Silage Processing Score) in real-time. This AI-based analysis saves time and optimizes corn cracker settings. The Claas Connect system also allows machines to be networked, yields mapped, and data accessed mobile.
Series Production and Throughput
Series production of the Claas Jaguar 1000 will commence in autumn 2025. The new Jaguar models have engine powers between 850 and 1,100 PS. The Jaguar 1200 can achieve a throughput of up to 500 tons per hour.
Multi Crop Cracker XL Variants
The Multi Crop Cracker XL is available in two variants: MCC XL Classic and MCC XL Shredlage. The MCC XL Classic has a 40% speed difference, while the MCC XL Shredlage has a 50% speed difference.
Maintenance and Cleaning Features
The pre-pressing rollers can be hydraulically raised, and the pre-pressing unit can be folded up to 80° for quick cleaning and maintenance. However, the V-FLEX cutter drum, Multi Crop Cracker XL, and the pre-pressing rollers' hydraulic raising and folding features are not mentioned in this paragraph.
