Prison Station: Found Asleep - Imprisoned Individual
In the heart of Dresden, Germany, the Federal Police have been active in recent weeks, making two significant arrests in connection with suspected fraud, theft, property damage, document forgery, and attempted computer theft.
The first arrest occurred on August 31, 2025, at around 00:30 a.m. in the dome hall of the main station. A 32-year-old German was taken into custody by officers from the Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden. Initially, the man claimed to have no identification documents, but subsequent checks revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the Dresden Local Court.
The second arrest took place at Dresden Central Station on August 26, 2025. A 19-year-old was apprehended during a routine control by the Federal Police. The young man was wanted for offenses including fraud, theft, damage to property, forgery of documents, and attempted computer fraud.
Upon further check, a mobile phone was found on the 19-year-old, leading to an additional charge of embezzlement. A ready-to-use pocket knife was also discovered, resulting in a separate report being filed for the possession of the weapon in violation of the Weapons Act.
The arrested individual claimed to have found the mobile phone a few days ago at the post office and kept it as it was not locked.
Both suspects were taken to the Federal Police Station at the main station for further proceedings.
