In the early hours of this morning, a series of disturbing events unfolded in the quiet neighbourhood of Lichterfelde.

A traffic accident was discovered on Goethestraße, involving a small car that damaged two parked vehicles and fled the scene. Investigations revealed that the suspect's vehicle, an unlocked high-end SUV, was found nearby and may be linked to both the accident and the victim.

Upon arrival, emergency services found a 28-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the back. The victim, understandably, refused to provide further details about the incident. The man was swiftly transported to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the seized car, a 30-year-old individual, claimed to have been involved in an argument with an unknown person on Goethestraße. The driver heard a sudden shot and, in fear, fled the scene, causing the accident and hiding nearby.

In a related incident, a 27-year-old man, known to police, is suspected of causing multiple incidents starting on Ahlener Weg, including injuring pedestrians and a fatal cyclist accident. This individual was not arrested at the scene as he fled and continued driving, leading to further accidents near Ostpreußendamm.

The Specialist Commission of Police Directorate 4 (South) has taken over the investigation, including the circumstances, cause, and potential connections to other criminal structures. The commission is also investigating whether the traffic accident and the stabbing incident are related.

The exact nature of the relationship, if any, between the driver of the seized car and the victim remains unknown. The blood traces found on one of the damaged cars lead towards Ostpreußendamm, suggesting a possible connection between the two incidents.

The investigation is ongoing, and the suspected perpetrator has yet to be found. Police District 46 dispatched response teams to Lichterfelde last night to manage the situation.

The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the local authorities. More updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
