The Procore Championship, the first FedEx Cup Fall event of the 2025 season, is set to tee off at Silverado Country Club's North Course in Napa, California from September 11 to 14. Established in 1955, the course boasts a par of 72 and a yardage of 7,138.
This prestigious tournament has been hosted 11 times, with the 2024 edition won by Patton Kizzire. Last year, Scottie Scheffler clinched the title, and he is back to defend it this year with odds of (+225) to win outright.
Joining Scheffler in the race for the championship are a host of talented players. Justin Thomas, who finished T7th in his most recent start, has a strong history at Silverado Country Club, with a 5th-place finish in 2023, a T4th in 2019, and T8th in 2016. Patrick Cantlay follows closely behind with outright winner odds of +1600.
Other notable contenders include Russell Henley, Sam Burns, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Harris English, JJ Spaun, Maverick McNealy, Akshay Bhatia, Davis Thompson, Jackson Koivun, Max Homa, and many more.
JJ Spaun has had a standout year, with a runner-up finish at the FedEx St. Jude Championship last month. Akshay Bhatia also shone in 2020, finishing T9th at Silverado Country Club, and followed it up with a T6th and a T13th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the Tour Championship towards the end of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
The Procore Championship will be broadcast on Golf Channel in the US/ET and Sky Sports Golf in the UK/BST, providing golf fans worldwide with the opportunity to watch the action unfold.
The course record at Silverado Country Club is (-11) 61, shared by Chesson Hadley (2017) and Ricky Barnes (2018). As the players prepare to battle it out for the championship, it remains to be seen who will etch their name into the record books this year.
In addition to the Procore Championship, several other players have been tipped to win events in 2025. Richard Mansell, Eugenio Chacarra, Sergio Garcia, Ludvig Aberg, Laurie Canter, Tommy Fleetwood, Joaquin Niemann, Tyrrell Hatton, Rory McIlroy, and Scottie Scheffler are among those picked by Golf Monthly staff members.
