Proposal for protecting workers from ionizing radiation risks remains unsigned by the Commission.

Police Crackdown on Speeding and Accident Blackspots in South East Hesse

In an effort to ensure road safety and reduce accidents, the Police Presidium South East Hesse will be deploying officers at traffic control points across the region during the 4th calendar week of 2025.

From January 20th to 26th, speed control points will be established at various locations prone to speeding and accidents, as well as at accident blackspots and noise protection areas.

On January 21st, speed control points will be set up on the A66, Hanau towards Fulda, at the junction Bad Soden-Salmünster (noise protection). The following day, on January 22nd, similar measures will be taken on K854, Langenselbold towards Erlensee, at the end of construction (speed danger zone).

On January 23rd, speed control points will be established on the A3268, Hanau towards Dornigheim (speed danger zone), and on the A3262, Zeppelinheim towards Buchschlag, between the railway line and junction B44 (accident blackspot).

The following day, on January 24th, speed control points will be set up on the B459, Dreieich towards Offenbach, before Geisfeld roundabout (accident blackspot), and on the B43a, Hanau towards Dieburg, before Geisfeld roundabout (accident blackspot). On the same day, additional control points will be set up on the B43a, Hanau towards Dieburg, at the junction Hanau-Hafen (speed danger zone).

On January 25th and 26th, speed control points will be set up on the B43a, Hanau towards Dieburg, at the junction Hanau-Hafen (speed danger zone) once more.
