In a series of disturbing incidents, authorities in Recklinghausen, Gladbeck, and Kardinal-von-Gahlen Park, Germany, are investigating reports of harassment and assault against minors and adults.
On Sunday afternoon, a man is suspected of harassing two 9 and 10-year-old girls in Kardinal-von-Gahlen Park. The suspect, described as approximately 40 years old, overweight, with gray hair, and a hunched posture, is said to have urinated on a tree and played with his genitals while looking at the children. He was wearing gray jogging pants and a gray sweater.
In a separate incident on Friday evening, two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were sexually harassed on a bus in Recklinghausen. The suspects, described as males in their early to mid-20s, approximately 1.60m to 1.70m tall, with black hair (one with long curls, the other with short hair), were wearing black jogging pants with white stripes. They got off the bus at Gustav-Mahler-Straße and ran in the direction of Johannes-Brahms-Straße.
Another incident occurred in the Gladbeck area on Saturday evening, where a 34-year-old woman encountered a suspected exhibitionist in the Wittringer Wald near Ringallee. The man, described as approximately 1.80m tall, overweight (estimated about 100 to 120 kg), with longer unkempt dark hair, was wearing jogging pants and a black t-shirt. Despite a search, no suspect could be identified.
The police are looking for witnesses in all three cases and are urging anyone with information about the suspects or details about the incidents to contact the competent criminal investigation department at 0800/2361 111.
The relevant investigations for the Kardinal-von-Gahlen Park incident are ongoing. However, no further information was provided about the connection between the incidents in Recklinghausen and Gladbeck.
