In a tragic incident, a 36-year-old driver from Reken lost his life in an accident on Wulfener Straße in Recklinghausen. The accident occurred around 8:45 PM on Sunday evening.
Upon arrival, emergency services initiated resuscitation efforts, but unfortunately, the driver could not be saved. The road was immediately closed in both directions due to the accident.
The police have deployed a special team to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident. The impounded vehicle is part of the police investigation. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
Several bystanders attempted to assist immediately after the accident. It is commendable that they took swift action to help, demonstrating the community's strong sense of compassion and solidarity.
