However, it remains uncertain whether this high business climate index is a temporary snapshot or a sign of long-term resilience. The current index of 138 points places Rhein-Kreis Neuss in the 'bright green' area, suggesting a very good business climate despite the economic recession caused by the Corona pandemic.
Interestingly, only about half (49%) of companies indicate they plan to invest in the next 12 months. While the specific sizes of the companies planning investments within the next year are not detailed, it's clear that the region's businesses are adapting and evolving to meet the challenges posed by the crisis.
