The Health and Therapy Center in Adlkofen, a reputable healthcare facility in the region, continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of its expanding catchment area. Founded in 1997 by Margot Raff, the center now employs 65 staff members, including physiotherapists, ergotherapists, speech therapists, sports scientists, and more.
Serving a wide area, the center offers comprehensive care on-site and provides numerous home visits through its fleet of approximately 30 cars. This commitment to accessibility has made it a trusted choice for many in the community.
Recently, the center has undergone an expansion, with new rooms for neurological intensive therapy and hand therapy set to be completed by the end of November. This expansion aims to accommodate the growing demand for specialized treatments, particularly after strokes, operations, or accidents that require a high neurological component.
One such specialized device is the EksoNR skeleton, a state-of-the-art tool that helps patients who can no longer walk independently learn to do so again. The center is one of only a few in Germany to possess this technology.
The ZGT's management, led by Margot Raff, has invested approximately 2.5 million euros in the latest technologies and devices for tailored treatment options. They are also promoting the use of digitization in the organization of healthcare, with the implementation of a uniform digital patient record and the introduction of the e-prescription progressing, albeit slowly.
On August 5, 2025, County Administrator Peter Dreier and Economic Referent Ludwig Goetz visited the center to discuss these advancements and the ongoing challenges in digitization. Dreier agreed that a change in mindset is needed, focusing on preventive offers, especially considering the aging population.
The center is also embracing digital signatures for rehabilitation sports, making it one of 40 practices nationwide to do so. This move is part of the ZGT's management's emphasis on continuous therapy approaches and personal health responsibility.
Notably, Margot Raff's daughters, Denise and Nadine, also work at the center after completing their training and studies. Their presence continues the family's commitment to providing exceptional care to the community.
As the Health and Therapy Center in Adlkofen continues to grow and evolve, it remains dedicated to its mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to its patients.
