Proprietary online casino launch imminent in Mexico for Golden Matrix
Casino Tech Provider Golden Matrix Gearing Up For B2C Expansion
Get ready to roll the dice, Mexico! Gaming technology and content provider Golden Matrix Group is about to launch its own online casino and sportsbook next month, marking its step into the B2C sector.
Mexico's getting a taste of MEXPLAY, Golden Matrix's proprietary online casino, starting November 1. The company has secured an operating license and is now set to audaciously entertain online players with a wealth of table games and slots.
Brian Goodman, Golden Matrix's CEO, expressed his excitement about the upcoming launch, stating it as the next big move for the company's expansion into B2C operations. He further revealed expectations of the casino brand to generate significant revenue and profits.
"Our recently acquired B2C operations from RKings now account for more than half of our revenues and profits; similarly, we anticipate substantial contributions from our Mexican operations to our overall growth," Goodman said.
The casino experience at MEXPLAY will cater to both Spanish and English-speaking players. Furthermore, the games and sportsbook offerings will not only entice players with traditional online casino favorites, but also excite them with a unique tournament business, a first in the market, expected to draw considerable attention.
Golden Matrix, a gaming tech developer based in Las Vegas, plans to introduce pay-to-enter tournament competitions. These competitions, modeled after those offered by the UK-based RKings Competitions, where the company holds an 80% stake, offer tantalizing prizes.
Latin America is Golden Matrix's target, with a B2C expansion strategy on the horizon. Following the launch of MEXPLAY, the company will dive into other regulated gaming markets in the region, aiming to capitalize on the burgeoning market size.
According to Statista, gross gaming revenue in Latin American markets is poised to double in the next five years, reaching $3.4 billion by 2025. Online gaming revenue, specifically, is projected to grow more than six times during the same period.
Beyond MEXPLAY, Golden Matrix is setting its sights on Brazil with the company's recent strategic acquisitions, technology investments, and debt-to-equity optimization all fueling its growth ambitions. With an established B2C platform and localized compliance expertise from its Meridianbet acquisition, Golden Matrix aims to make a big splash in Latin America by late 2025.
Golden Matrix made headlines earlier this year when it went public on the US Nasdaq Capital Market, ticker GMGI. The company's B2B gaming platforms and tools targeting the Asia-Pacific region are all part of its global expansion strategy.
