In the past week, several incidents have taken place in the regions of Lueneburg, Uelzen, and their surrounding areas. The local police force is seeking the public's help in investigating these incidents and identifying any potential suspects.
On the 1st of May, a hit-and-run incident occurred on Dahlenburger Landstraße. A cyclist, riding against the designated direction of travel from a gas station parking lot, collided with a parked blue Audi. The cyclist sustained minor injuries and fled the scene. The police are asking for any information that may help identify the cyclist involved.
On the same day, a pursuit involving a 33-year-old driver took place in the district of Lueneburg-Dannenberg. The chase involved near misses at the junction of the state road 260 onto the federal road 248 and at the roundabout of B248 and B493 towards Woltersdorf. The police in Lueneburg are seeking the drivers of the affected vehicles, but no publicly available details about the individuals involved in the chase have been released.
On the 29th of April, another hit-and-run incident occurred on Dahlenburger Landstraße. A white car, turning from Dahlenburger Straße into Ziegelkamp, hit a child on a bicycle and left the scene without stopping. The child sustained minor injuries. The police are investigating this incident and asking for any information that may help identify the white car involved.
On the night of the 5th of May, unknown individuals broke into two garden sheds on Spangenbergstraße and stole an electric drill and an impact wrench worth several hundred euros. The police are asking for the public's help in identifying these individuals.
On the 6th of May, an 18-year-old stole several high-end perfumes from a drugstore on Grapengießerstraße. The stolen goods are worth several hundred euros. The same 18-year-old attempted to steal clothing worth over 1,000 euros from a clothing store on Am Markt but was prevented from doing so by an employee.
On the same day, a verbal altercation in a park on Dahlenburger Landstraße led to a physical assault of two men aged 25 and 37 by a 21-year-old and a 51-year-old. The police were able to locate and control the two suspects near the park, and investigations into the background of the incident are ongoing.
On the 6th of May, an accident involving two cars occurred on federal road 4 between Suderburg and Breitenhees, resulting in minor injuries for all parties and significant damage to both vehicles.
On the night of the 5th of May, a resident of an accommodation in Bad Bodenteich assaulted security staff following an argument and was subsequently detained.
