Racing team Red Bull bears responsibility for Tsunod's misfortune during the Dutch Grand Prix, despite Max's efforts to prevent it.

In the recent Dutch Grand Prix, Yuki Tsunoda found himself just shy of a points finish, a result that Laurent Mekies, Red Bull Racing's Executive Director, attributes to factors beyond the young driver's control.

Tsunoda had shown promising form during the race, leading Antonio Giovinazzi before the safety car incident. However, the timing of the safety car and the subsequent unfavourable map setting on his car after the last pit stop derailed his chances of a points finish.

The issue that affected Tsunoda's performance was not related to the Power Unit (PU). Instead, it seemed that the throttle map during the last part of the race was unfriendly, and the change in map setting after the pit stop was not favourable.

Despite these setbacks, Tsunoda was on course for a points finish had the safety car incident not occurred, potentially finishing around P7. Unfortunately, he found himself stuck in traffic for most of the race, hindering his chances of a higher position.

Laurent Mekies emphasised Tsunoda's strong overall performance and potential, stating that the lack of points during the last race pause was not a reflection of the driver's abilities. Red Bull Racing started Tsunoda on soft tires and switched to hard tires early in the race, a strategy that seemed to work well for the team until the late-race issues arose.

Despite the disappointing outcome, Tsunoda's performance in the Dutch Grand Prix showcases his promise and potential as a rising star in Formula One. Further information about the exact cause of the issues faced by Tsunoda's car during the race was not provided.
