Police Arrest Polish Citizen in Connection with Large-Scale Narcotics Seizure
In an operation led by the State Police of Schleswig-Holstein, a 36-year-old Polish citizen was provisionally arrested on July 3, 2025, at Elmshorn station. The arrest came after large quantities of narcotics, estimated to be over 1 kilogram, were discovered during a routine person check around noon.
The suspected narcotics were identified as amphetamines, with a street value of approximately 10,000 euros. The arrest warrant was issued by the competent investigating judge at Itzehoe Local Court, and the man is currently being held at Itzehoe Prison.
The Itzehoe Public Prosecutor's Office requested an arrest warrant for the individual the day after his arrest. The Drugs Squad of Elmshorn Criminal Police has taken over the investigation of the case, with the investigation and interrogation related to the discovery of the narcotics being conducted by the DHF police service.
