Füchschen Brewery and Düsseldorf Prince's Guard Strengthen Partnership with New Headquarters

In a historic move, the Füchschen brewery and the Düsseldorf Prince's Guard have sealed a deal to make the Füchschen's basement, known as Fuchsbau, the new headquarters for the guard. The deal was finalised on Saturday, 8th February, by Dirk Kemmer, President of Rot-Weiss, and Peter König, who plays a key role in both Füchschen and the Düsseldorf Prince's Guard.

The Fuchsbau, located in the heart of Düsseldorf's old town, is ideally situated as a central meeting point and starting point for the activities of the red and white guards. The new headquarters will also serve as a significant location for numerous events throughout Düsseldorf, given its association with the guard.

The Düsseldorf Prince's Guard has a long-standing tradition of being associated with the Füchschen brewery, a relationship that has lasted for 24 years. Peter König, who served as the Prince of Carnival in 2001 and is now the CEO of Füchschen, is also the honorary president of the guard.

The guard has already become accustomed to the Fuchsbau, as it is the venue for the Rot-Weiss' annual party, "Jeck em Fuchs," held at the Füchschen on Ratinger Straße. Peter König expressed his delight at the opportunity to further deepen the partnership between Füchschen and the guard, stating that the Fuchsbau will provide an ideal base for the guard to carry out its duties.

The new location of the headquarters, the Zeughaus in Düsseldorf, will no longer be the home of the guard. Instead, it will be the Zeughaus that will serve as the meeting place and "living room" for the guard, as König explained.

With this new development, Füchschen has also become the exclusive beer sponsor of the Düsseldorf Prince's Guard. The Rot-Weiss President, Dirk Kemmer, was present at the deal-sealing event at the Fuchsbau and expressed his excitement about the partnership.

The Fuchsbau's central location in Düsseldorf's old town is expected to boost the profile of the guard and the brewery, as well as attract more visitors to the city. The partnership between Füchschen and the guard is set to continue to strengthen in the coming years, with the Fuchsbau providing a symbolic and practical hub for the red and white guards.
