The course, a joint project of the State Association of Adult Education Centers NRW, VHS Dormagen, and the municipal department of Integration and Social Affairs, will take place at the Christoph-Rensing-School and run until approximately January 22, 2023.

The course, consisting of 300 units of 45 minutes each, divided into six modules, is designed to provide a low-threshold access to language and orientation in Dormagen. Dr. Torsten Spillmann, Deputy Mayor, emphasizes the importance of the course, stating that it will help newcomers get started in their lives in Germany. The course is based on the "orientation and German learning" concept of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

To ensure successful integration, the course has secured the services of Dennis Komainda, a competent teacher familiar with the local area. The course is open to other immigrants if there are available spots.

It is intended for asylum seekers and immigrants who are not yet eligible for an integration course. The course will run four days a week, from Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 to 12:45.

While the organization involved in the initial orientation training for refugees in Dormagen from August 25th until approximately January 22nd, 2023, is not explicitly mentioned in the available search results, the joint effort of the State Association of Adult Education Centers NRW, VHS Dormagen, and the municipal department of Integration and Social Affairs promises a comprehensive and supportive learning environment for all participants.
