The Regensburg Landscape Conservation Association (LPV) and Oberpfraundorf are teaming up for apple collections in 2025, inviting residents to participate in a tangible effort towards nature conservation and the production of regional quality products.

These collections will take place at the warehouse of the county building yard in Oberpfraundorf (Beratzhausen), specifically at the drop-off point opposite the commuter parking lot, under the highway underpass. The collections will occur on two Saturdays: September 13th and October 11th, 2025, between 2 and 4 pm.

To participate, residents are encouraged to bring their unsprayed apples from orchards and gardens in suitable containers such as bags, boxes, or other suitable containers. The apples should be fresh and free of signs of rot.

By delivering apples to the collection point, you'll be supporting the preservation of local orchards and orchards, as part of the Juradistl program. Participants will receive payment for their apples in cash, at a rate of 15 euros per 100 kilograms. Upon delivery, a weight receipt will be issued.

Those delivering more than ten cents per delivery should register in advance with the Regensburg Landscape Conservation Association at [email protected]. If you have a Nagler customer number, please bring it with you and mention it at the collection point. The apples delivered can be exchanged for vouchers for the Nagler press in Regensburg.

These apple collections are not just about recycling fruit or supporting local agriculture; they are also an opportunity to contribute to the production of local products like Juradistl apple spritzer and Juradistl apple juice. By participating, you'll be helping to preserve the region's rich culinary heritage.

So, mark your calendars for September 13th and October 11th, 2025, and get ready to support local nature conservation and regional products by participating in the apple collections in Oberpfraundorf.
