Reinforcements Head to Team 110 in Political Scenario
New Police Reinforcements Join Bochum, Herne, and Witten Forces
The Bochum Police Presidium has welcomed 102 new police officers and four administrative staff members, as part of a reinforcement effort aimed at enhancing the security of the citizens in the cities of Bochum, Herne, and Witten.
The new recruits, which include 60 newly appointed commissioners who have recently completed their dual studies, were welcomed by Police President Christine Frucht and her leadership team on September 1st. Among the new colleagues, five officers will be part of the state riding staff, one officer will be working in the traffic police, and 21 officers will be assigned to the local criminal police.
The remaining 53 officers will be immediately reinforcing the shift and patrol duty, with 35 going to Bochum, 10 to Herne, and 8 to Witten. The new reinforcements will have their respective positions within their directorates, with one administrative staff member stationed in the Directorate of Central Tasks (administration).
The new police officers and staff will be working in team 110, where they were briefed on their future tasks during the welcome ceremony. The new recruits also took their oath of service at the ceremonial welcome.

This reinforcement follows the departure of Jörg Lukat, who previously held the position of Police President (Polizeipräsidentin) of the Bochum Police Presidium.
