Renovated Four Seasons Hotel Doha Resumes Operations after Extensive Makeover
Four Seasons Hotel Doha Undergoes Stunning Renovation, Elevating Qatar's Luxury Hospitality Scene
The Four Seasons Hotel Doha has completed an extensive renovation, transforming it into an unmatched luxury destination in the heart of Qatar's capital city. The rejuvenated hotel, designed by world-renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, boasts a contemporary design that pays homage to Qatari heritage.
The hotel's grand entrance now features a door reminiscent of grande dame entrances, leading guests into a redesigned Lobby that floods with light and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. The Lobby is adorned with handmade and bespoke Italian furnishings, including a stunning hand blown glass chandelier.
The public areas have been transformed with a range of greens, creating a feeling of a lush garden and new life. One of the new additions is The Study, an outdoor bar and lounge concept located on a terrace adjoining the Library and Cigar Lounge. The Study reflects the palm trees and the sea outdoors, and is another addition to the hotel's unique variety of dining outlets.
The Study pays homage to Ernest Hemingway's study as a place of thought and reflection, and offers a selection of cocktails with their own stories. This new concept is managed by a celebrated Michelin star Chef, who will also oversee the hotel's other dining outlets with a brand new concept.
Further enhancements to the hotel, including the refurbishment of a space previously held by Il Teatro, will be announced later in 2020. The hotel's bedrooms, suites, guest floors, and dining outlets have undergone a complete renovation, and Hermes amenities are offered in all suites. The hotel also features state-of-the-art technology.
In addition to the renovations, the Four Seasons Hotel Doha will host their own celebration, World of Nobu, on 25 and 26 March 2020. This event will feature nine head chefs from Nobu Restaurants around the world, including Nobu Matsuhisa himself.
Qatar's cultural offering was further enhanced in 2019 with the opening of the National Museum of Qatar, designed by French Architect Jean Nouvel. Qatar is also establishing itself as a major player in the world of contemporary art, hosting the single largest show of Damien Hirst's works at Al Riwaq Art Space at the end of 2018.
Doha will continue to host the Qatar International Food Festival from 20 to 30 March 2020, celebrating the country's diverse food, beverage, and hospitality offerings. The city's new Doha Metro system is shaping up to be a modern marvel and will connect Hamad International Airport to key cultural locations across Doha and beyond.
With its stunning renovation, the Four Seasons Hotel Doha is poised to continue leading Qatar's luxury hospitality scene, offering residential warmth and intuitive service to its guests.
