In a surprising turn of events, a collision between a bus and a BMW occurred in the city of Sigmaringen on Monday afternoon. The incident took place at the intersection of Friedhofstraße, causing a significant disturbance in the usually tranquil area.
According to the Ravensburg Police Headquarters, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a left-hand curve, leading to the unfortunate collision. The type of vehicle involved in the incident was a bus, and the other vehicle was a BMW.
The BMW, driven by a 19-year-old woman, sustained approximately €10,000 worth of damage to its right side. The severely damaged vehicle had to be towed away from the scene. Fortunately, the BMW driver complained of pain after the accident but was treated by a doctor on an outpatient basis.
Remarkably, no injuries were reported among the approximately two dozen passengers on the bus. The bus also sustained several thousand euros in damage.
