In two separate incidents over the weekend, the Ravensburg Police Station is currently investigating potential cases of reckless driving and violent assault.

On Saturday morning at around 9:30 AM, a dangerous overtaking maneuver occurred on the B32 near Altshausen. According to witness statements, a dark Mazda MX-5 attempted to overtake in a left curve despite an approaching vehicle from the opposite direction. The 60-year-old driver of the Ford Focus, who was driving on the opposite lane, managed to prevent a potential collision through quick braking. The persons involved in the overtaking maneuver have not been specifically named, but the police are investigating the incident to ensure road safety.

On Sunday morning at around 4 AM, a brawl took place at the train station square in Ravensburg. The incident involved a four-person group who are believed to have beaten and kicked two victims after an initial verbal assault. The victims, aged 34 and 19, sustained head and facial injuries and were taken to a hospital by ambulance. The perpetrators fled towards the city center after the police were alerted. The Ravensburg Police Station is actively investigating the background and exact sequence of events, as well as the identification of the attackers.
