Request for Public Testimonies by Law Enforcement Agencies

In the Lünen district of Horstmar in Dortmund, Germany, a 14-year-old student was seriously injured in an e-scooter collision on May 23rd. The incident occurred at around 12:40 PM, near a secondary school on Preußenstraße, where many students and parents were present at the time.

According to the Dortmund Police, two teenagers were riding e-scooters on the same sidewalk in an eastern direction. One of the teenagers hit the student, causing her to be thrown against a tree and sustain serious injuries. Both teenagers fell after the collision but continued their journey.

The student was being picked up by her father at the time of the accident. The identity of the teenager who hit the 14-year-old student is of particular interest to the investigators.

The Dortmund Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident with case number 0497. Anyone with information about the teenagers or the course of events is asked to contact the Lünen police station under the number 0231/132-3121.
