Restaurant Chain Locanda Brings in Mother of Owner as Guest Chef for a Limited Time

Locanda Restaurants are hosting an exclusive dinner series called "A Cena Con Mamma Carmela," giving diners a unique opportunity to experience Mamma Carmela's dishes firsthand, cooked by the woman herself.

Mamma Carmela is the mother of restaurant owner Enzo Rosano, who grew up near Naples, Italy, where his fondest memories are of his mother's cooking. This four-course menu, inspired by Mamma Carmela's cherished family recipes, will be served at various Locanda locations across the Bay Area.

The dinner series kicks off on September 17 at Locanda Wine Bar in Livermore, followed by Locanda Sorrento in Campbell on September 18, Locanda Amalfi in Pleasanton on September 19, Locanda Positano in Lafayette on September 24, Locanda Ravello in Danville on September 25, and Locanda Capri in Brentwood on September 26. Each dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.

For those interested in attending, reservations can be made through Locanda's website.
