The Las Vegas Review-Journal has reported the exciting news of a new podcast titled "Pawn After Dark", set to launch in January 2025. This new series is a spin-off from the popular reality TV show, "Pawn Stars", and will be produced by Studio71.

The podcast will be recorded in a secret studio on the second floor of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, the same location where some scenes from "Pawn Stars" are filmed. This studio has been the backdrop for the TV series since Season 2, with all transactions being worked out in advance with the actors participating in them.

"Pawn After Dark" will not be produced by the History Channel, but it will capitalise on the 15 years of fame from the original series. The first batch of celebrities on the podcast includes Raiders owner Mark Davis, ZZ Top co-founder Billy Gibbons, and BMX cyclist and TV host T.J. Lavin. Each celebrity will bring an item for the duo, Rick Harrison and Austin "Chumlee" Russell, to appraise.

The podcast will feature interviews with these celebrities, as well as appraisals of their unique items. It will be available on most major streaming platforms, providing a new way for fans to engage with their favourite stars.

Interestingly, Rick Harrison hired Chumlee at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop when he was 21, after they became friends at Las Vegas' Jon C. Fremont Middle School. However, Corey Harrison, known as "Big Hoss" on "Pawn Stars", has recently relocated to Tulum, Mexico, and will not be a regular feature on "Pawn After Dark".

"Pawn After Dark" is a play on the syndicated '60s TV series, "Playboy After Dark". The new podcast promises to bring the same level of excitement and intrigue, while maintaining the authenticity and charm of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new venture!
