Road construction on Fadeyev Street in Krasnodar will lead to traffic restrictions in the area.
In the heart of Krasnodar, the city's strategic plan to develop and modernize its road and transport infrastructure is taking shape. The overpass on Fadeeva Street is undergoing a significant reconstruction as part of the "25/35" programme.
Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy Head of Krasnodar, has addressed the residents, asking for their understanding and patience as traffic restrictions are put in place. The reconstruction is expected to last until the end of July 2027.
During this period, a section of ul. im. Fadeeva, from ul. 1-go Maya to Aeroflotskaya, will be restricted. However, traffic on the M-4 "Don" highway and the reversible traffic on one lane of ul. Aeroflotskaya for access to the airport and gas station remain unaffected.
Residents are advised to use a temporary route through courtyard areas parallel to ul. im. Fadeeva. The route of trolleybus No. 7 will also change, with a turnaround loop organized at the intersection of ul. im. Fadeeva and ul. 1-go Maya.
The overpass is being dismantled and rebuilt, changing from a four-span structure to a two-span structure. Green spaces will be removed for the work, with a maximum number of trees and shrubs preserved. New trees and shrubs will be planted later.
Specialists will rearrange the contact network for the trolleybus route, and it is not mentioned that the reconstruction will affect the route of trolleybus No. 7 or the safety of the contact network for the trolleybus route.
Traffic on the M-4 "Don" highway will be organized according to a temporary scheme with four lanes maintained. Reversible traffic will be organized on one lane of ul. Aeroflotskaya for access to the airport and gas station. During the reconstruction, the overpass will be completely closed to traffic.
Pedestrian movement on ul. im. Fadeeva from ul. 1-go Maya to ul. Aeroflotskaya will be completely restricted from September 20. Temporary traffic schemes will be used to partially open the reconstructed section of ul. im. Fadeeva.
The overpass renovation aims to improve traffic flow and safety in the city. The "25/35" programme is a large-scale initiative for developing road and transport infrastructure in Krasnodar. No new statement from Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy Head of Krasnodar, is mentioned regarding the expected end date of the reconstruction.
