Road Maintenance on Highway B 49 from the connecting mine-woods forest to Kleinlinden's exit

The B49, a major road in Hesse, will be closed for repairs starting from Friday, March 15, at approximately 8 pm, as announced by the responsible authority, Hessen Mobil. The closure will affect traffic in the direction of Wetzlar and will last until Monday, March 18, around 5 am.

During the closure, traffic will be rerouted via the A485 and A45 to the Wetzlar-Ost interchange. The repairs will be carried out on the section of the B49 between the Bergwerkswald Interchange and the exit to Kleinlinden, in the direction of Wetzlar.

Approximately 1,375 square meters of asphalt will be renewed during the repairs. Hessen Mobil, the organisation responsible for the repairs, will also be handling the traffic rerouting information, as suggested by the website mobil.hessen.de.

For updates about the traffic situation, visitors can check the website regularly. It is important to note that the Straßenbauamt (road construction office) of the state of Hesse or the local municipal government is typically the responsible authority for road repairs on the B49 between Bergwerkswald-Ausweich and the Kleinlinden exit towards Wetzlar.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect delays due to the road closures. The repairs are being done to ensure the safety and smooth running of the B49, a vital road link in the region.
