Ronda Rousey compares Vince McMahon and Dana White in a harsh manner, sharing her remorse concerning her time in WWE.

Ronda Rousey, the UFC Hall of Fame star who made a foray into wrestling with WWE in early 2018, has been vocal about her experiences and criticisms of the company since her exit in 2023. In a series of recent interviews, Rousey has shared her thoughts on various aspects of WWE, including its management and creative process.

Rousey's autobiography contains criticisms of WWE and its management, particularly highlighting her frustration with the lack of collaboration during her time there. She compared Vince McMahon, the company's boss, to her former UFC boss, Dana White, stating that she felt McMahon would say things to get her out of the room and then make changes without her input.

One of the decisions Rousey has criticised is WWE's choice to have her work with Alexa Bliss. Rousey believes that Bliss was chosen due to high merchandise sales, rather than their potential as a compelling wrestling duo.

Rousey also expressed disappointment about the creative aspect of WWE, referring to it as an "absolute shitshow." She felt that her on-screen impact was not adequately represented, particularly her signature armbar submission move.

Despite the challenges, Rousey's time in WWE was not without its high points. Her final feud with Shayna Baszler was well received by critics, allowing Baszler's mic skills to flourish. However, Rousey regrets that Baszler and her friends, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, were later released by WWE.

Rousey had expressed a desire to work with the Four Horsewomen (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Sasha Banks) but never got the opportunity. Her final match with Shayna Baszler was under the AEW umbrella in 2023, and she has not heard from WWE since.

After leaving WWE in 2023, Rousey did not return to the company and instead ended her wrestling career following a Ring of Honor appearance. She cited a difficult relationship with Vince McMahon, the dissolution of her key Four Horsewomen group, and having achieved all her WWE goals as reasons for her departure.

Rousey wrestled for over six years in WWE, winning the Royal Rumble and becoming a multi-time world champion. Her comments about WWE and its management are part of a recent wave of interviews she has given, offering insights into her time in the wrestling world and her reasons for leaving.
