In a significant shift for both companies, Sebastian Wolf, the 42-year-old CEO of Rosenbauer, a leading fire-fighting equipment manufacturer based in Leonding, Linz-Land, is set to depart the company. His departure follows the majority takeover of Rosenbauer by Robau Beteiligungsgesellschaft, an investment company, which occurred at the beginning of March.

The takeover, involving Red Bull heir Mark Mateschitz, industrialist Stefan Pierer, and two of the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, has not been previously mentioned. This development has implications for Wolf's departure from Rosenbauer, although the exact details are yet to be disclosed.

Wolf's departure from Rosenbauer is scheduled for April 22, and he will take up his new position as CFO at TGW, a logistics systems builder based in Marchtrenk, Wels-Land, on May 5, 2025. His appointment at TGW was made by the supervisory board in close coordination with TGW's management, following the selection process.

Wolf's new role at TGW will see him succeed Clemens Bauernfeind, who has been acting as CFO at TGW since May 2024. The statement confirming Wolf's appointment was issued by TGW on Monday.

The departure of Wolf as CEO of Rosenbauer was imminent following the majority takeover of the company by Robau Beteiligungsgesellschaft. The exact reasons for his departure and the details of his new role at TGW are yet to be disclosed.

Rosenbauer's takeover by Robau Beteiligungsgesellschaft marks a significant change for the company, and further developments are expected in the coming months. Meanwhile, TGW is set to welcome Sebastian Wolf as its new CFO, bringing fresh leadership and expertise to the logistics systems builder.
