Rotation in the National League: "It's necessary for us to swap players"
TSG Balingen 2 Secures 3-1 Victory Over VfB Bölingen
In a closely contested match, TSG Balingen 2 emerged victorious against VfB Bölingen with a final score of 3-1. The game, played on Wednesday, saw Balingen take an early lead with Mirhan Inan scoring in the 25th minute. VfB Bölingen responded with a goal from Armin in the second half, but TSG Balingen managed to pull ahead again with goals from Christos Thomaidis and Noel Feher.
Despite having more chances, Balingen 2 coach Philipp Wolf criticized their sloppy finishing. On the other hand, VfB Bölingen's Samed Akbaba lamented his team's lack of finality and clarity in front of the Bölingen goal. Akbaba also noted that his team struggled to implement their game plan in the first 20-25 minutes.
The referee, Roman Braukmann, was in the spotlight in the second minute of stoppage time when he disallowed a goal by FC 07 Albstadt for a handball. This decision was admitted by coach Akbaba, who felt it was a bitter loss for his team, especially as they had hoped to build on their win in Schwenningen.
Playing on grass was a challenge for Balingen's U23 team, who are used to playing on an artificial pitch, according to their coach. In contrast, TSG Bölingen 2 had a lot of possession and were secure in their passing during the game. They made few mistakes, as stated by their coach.
Looking ahead, FC 07 Albstadt will face TSV Harthausen in a derby on Wednesday, with player-coach Akin Aktepe eagerly anticipating the match against Samed Akbaba. Meanwhile, SV Jungingen and SV Eggingen will meet in a derby, and Rot-Weiß and FCA will face each other in the Verbandsliga.
VfB Bölingen, overall, offered very little in the game, according to Akbaba. However, he praised his team's fighting spirit after going 0-2 down. The team from Bölingen will need to regroup quickly as they face their next challenge. For TSG Balingen 2, this win marks a strong start to their season.
