Prince Harry has made his long-awaited return to his British homeland after nearly five months away. The Duke of Sussex, now 40, has a packed schedule for the week, with several planned engagements until Friday.
On Tuesday, Prince Harry will visit the Community Recording Studio in Nottingham, marking his only known official engagement at this time. The visit is significant as it comes amidst the 20th anniversary of the charity WellChild, for which Harry has been the patron for years.
The following day, Prince Harry will attend the WellChild Awards in London. This event celebrates seriously ill children and their families, honouring their resilience and the dedication of their caregivers. At the event, Harry is expected to acknowledge the award winners and express his gratitude for their inspiring stories.
In addition to his public engagements, Prince Harry has private meetings with his charities and patronages scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. However, it remains unclear if these meetings will be classified as official engagements.
Before traveling to London, Prince Harry visited Windsor Castle, where he laid a wreath and paid tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on the third anniversary of her death.
On Wednesday, Harry is also scheduled to have a private tea meeting with King Charles III at Clarence House. However, details about a potential meeting between the two royals are not yet known.
Prince Harry's arrival at the WellChild Awards showed him in high spirits, with a charming smile on his face. The Sun and BBC have reported about his visit to the Community Recording Studio and his upcoming engagements.
Interestingly, Prince Harry will announce a donation to the "Children in Need" organisation during his visit to the Community Recording Studio.
As for King Charles III, he is currently residing at Balmoral Castle in Scotland and travels regularly to London for his cancer treatment.
