Royal Spectacle: 'Heroes' Military Musical Supports Service Personnel

The annual Household Division Military Musical Spectacular, titled 'Heroes', took place from Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th July 2025. The event, held at Horse Guards Parade, was a memorable tribute to Britain's enduring traditions and those who serve. It supported the Household Division Charity, benefiting service personnel and their families.

HRH The Princess Royal, the guest of honour, was escorted onto the parade ground by Major General James Bowder. The spectacle combined Massed Bands of the Household Division with the Duchess of Edinburgh's String Orchestra and mounted State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry. Over 250 performers took part, showcasing British military pageantry and artistic excellence.

Soldiers from the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery also participated in the event. The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace marked their 200th anniversary with a display of horse-drawn state coaches and cars. The event featured distinguished guest artists Hugh Bonneville and Matt Goss.

The 'Heroes' spectacle was a grand celebration of Britain's military heritage and a tribute to those who serve. The event raised funds for the Household Division Charity, supporting service personnel and their families. The Princess Royal's presence and the participation of renowned artists added to the event's prestige.
