RTL is terminating the airing of the gambling program "Million-Dollar Win eludes you here".

Stefan Raab, the popular German entertainer, is set to experience a change in his television career as his gambling show, You Won't Win the Million Here, has been cancelled by RTL. The show, which premiered last year, has struggled with declining viewer numbers, leading to its cancellation after just eight months.

The cancellation might be concerning for Raab, as it marks the end of a successful run that began in the 2000s. Known for creating numerous TV formats and shows, Raab has made a name for himself in the German entertainment industry.

Despite the cancellation, RTL has shown its continued collaboration with Raab by announcing a new show in the works for the fall. The broadcaster is also planning a revised weekly show to air on Wednesdays at 8:15 PM this fall, in collaboration with Raab. The details about the programming head responsible for the new weekly program are yet to be disclosed.

In a positive note, RTL has also signed a multi-million deal with Raab, indicating a continued partnership. Raab hosts several other formats on RTL, including Raab's Pokernight with GGPoker.de and Stefan & Bully against Some Random Guy.

The cancellation of Raab's gambling show is not the only recent development in his career. Raab took on the role of hosting the German preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest this year. However, the event did not fully convince the audience due to a spontaneous rule change, and the eventual winners, Abor & Tynna, did not sit well with many fans. Bookmakers' odds suggest another disappointing result for Germany at the ESC.

Tomorrow's show will be a special edition dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and each remaining episode will be event-based. In the following week, the show will focus on the possible promotion of 1. FC Köln to the Bundesliga.

The coming months will reveal how the viewing figures for Raab's other formats develop and whether they will be continued. Raab's choice of Lena Meyer-Landrut as the winner of the contest in 2010, which led to her winning the Eurovision Song Contest, is a testament to his knack for finding successful talent and creating engaging television.
