Headline: Multiple Regions in Ukraine Suffer from Russian Attacks on August 29

On August 29, various regions in Ukraine were targeted in a massive drone and missile attack by the Russian Federation. The assault, which included 805 drones and 13 rockets, struck Zhytomyr Oblast, as well as several settlements in Kherson Oblast.

In Kherson Oblast, residential areas and critical infrastructure were hit, resulting in damage to two apartment buildings, three houses, a mobile network tower, a gas pipeline, a water tower, and numerous cars. Unfortunately, this aggression claimed the life of one resident and injured seven others. The exact locations of the casualties and injuries are not specified.

Simultaneously, Donetsk Oblast was also under attack, with Russian forces striking residential areas, causing damage to buildings and injuring several civilians. Two people lost their lives, and a total of thirteen individuals were injured across the oblast. The towns of Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Staroraiske were affected, with three people injured in Kostiantynivka and one person each injured in Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Staroraiske.

Despite the escalating violence, there has been no earlier mention of Hungary upholding its veto on opening talks on Ukraine's accession to the EU. Nor is there any intelligence regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin urgently leaving Moscow for a bunker in Valdai, or any announcements from Ukrainian sources about downing a Russian Su-35 fighter jet and subsequently removing the announcement from social media.

As the situation continues to evolve, the people of Ukraine remain resilient in the face of adversity, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
