Sales soar by 3% for GFT products
GFT Technologies SE Reports First Half Financial Results and Future Growth Strategy
GFT Technologies SE, a leading IT service provider, has reported its financial results for the first half of 2025, along with its strategic plans for growth.
The company, which primarily serves customers in the financial services and manufacturing industries, has seen a three percent increase in revenue, reaching €441.51 million compared to the same period in 2024. However, the adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) decreased by 17 percent to around €65 million, and the operating profit (EBT) dropped by 37 percent to €19.02 million.
In terms of regional performance, sales in North and South America and Asia have seen an increase, while sales with European customers have decreased by six percent. Notably, sales with Spanish customers fell by seven percent, in Italy GFT had a four percent decrease, and in the United Kingdom, sales volume was 19 percent lower than the previous year.
Despite these declines, GFT remains optimistic about its future, aiming for revenue of €1.5 billion by 2029 with an adjusted EBIT margin of 9.5 percent. The company plans to achieve this growth both organically and through targeted acquisitions of IT service providers, with a continued focus on acquiring SAP know-how.
GFT's business with insurers and industrial customers has increased, while business with banks has decreased slightly. The company currently employs 11,446 full-time employees, a decrease of one percent compared to mid-2024.
For the year 2025, GFT expects revenue growth of two percent to €885 million. However, no new revenue or EBIT figures were provided for the years after 2025.
The company did not announce any new CEO or executive hires, nor did it provide any changes in its expectations for revenue growth or adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT).
GFT remains committed to sustainable growth and will continue to serve its core markets while seeking opportunities for expansion and improvement.
