San Diego's ASI Exhibition Offers Another Round of Excitement

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) Show, a significant event for the promotional products industry, has announced its relocation to the Long Beach Convention Center for 2013 and beyond. This decision, made in collaboration with local organisers and venue managers, comes as a response to the growing demand for the show and the potential cost savings it offers.

The 2013 edition of the ASI Show, set to take place from March 23, promises to be a bustling event, with an energized show floor, engaging education sessions, and a keynote by actor and activist Michael J. Fox. The event is expected to attract over 2,000 distributor attendees and 335 suppliers, making it a prime opportunity for networking and business growth.

One of the key advantages of the Long Beach Convention Center is its accessibility. It is easily reachable from all major thoroughfares, and flights into Long Beach are 50% cheaper compared to traveling to San Diego, where the show was previously held. Additionally, hotel rooms in Long Beach cost on average $50 less per night compared to San Diego.

The relocation of the event to Long Beach is expected to save attendees $500 per person annually. This cost reduction, coupled with the central location of the Long Beach Convention Center, which is close to three airports, makes ASI Long Beach 2013 an attractive proposition for industry professionals.

Rick Greene from HALO Branded Solutions expressed his excitement about the event, stating that he found important apparel resources within the first few rows of the show floor. Suppliers and distributors alike have enjoyed quality time together on the show floor and during numerous networking opportunities.

Michael J. Fox's keynote, where he shared personal lessons from his life with Parkinson's disease, attracted nearly 500 attendees. As an actor and activist living with the disease, Fox's inspiring story served as a powerful reminder of the resilience and determination required to succeed in the face of adversity.

With a nearly full floor plan already in place, ASI Long Beach 2013 is shaping up to be an unmissable event for the promotional products industry. The show is expected to sell out before summer, so industry professionals are encouraged to secure their places early to avoid disappointment.
