SBI Clerk Main Exam Results 2025: Examination Scores, Cut-Off Marks, Download Methods, and Subsequent Actions Explained

The State Bank of India (SBI) has recently announced the results for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam held on April 10 and 12, 2025. This crucial step in the recruitment process for thousands of aspirants aims to build a career in India's largest public-sector bank.

The results mark the beginning of a new phase in the recruitment process, as candidates who qualify are called for the Language Proficiency Test (Local Language Proficiency Test). This test is mandatory for candidates without proof of local language proficiency in their 10th or 12th standard education.

SBI is recruiting for a total of 13,735 Junior Associate posts across India, with an additional 456 backlog vacancies. The final selection for SBI Clerk recruitment is based on performance in the Mains examination, qualification in the LPT, and verification of documents and eligibility criteria.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official SBI website for result updates, keep their login credentials and registration details handy, prepare their original documents for the upcoming LPT and document verification, and stay updated about further notices related to the final selection and appointment letters.

It's important to note that the LPT is a qualifying test for the SBI Clerk recruitment process, and marks are not added to the final merit. If a candidate fails the LPT, they will not be considered for final selection. Exemption from the LPT is given only if the candidate studied the local language in school.

As SBI Clerks, successful candidates will be primarily responsible for customer service tasks such as handling deposits, withdrawals, and resolving queries. The role is an essential part of the bank's operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service for millions of customers.

The SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) is offered a basic pay of ₹17,900 per month, with additional allowances raising the total monthly salary to between ₹29,000 and ₹32,000.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2025 began on May 19, 2025, offering opportunities for students in various fields of study.
