School Buildings Engulfed in Flames

A fire broke out on the facade of the Neue Oberschule in Reinickendorf, Germany, early on the morning of Walliser Street. The incident was first noticed by a passerby at around 00:40.

Upon arrival, the fire department found a canister containing a flammable liquid, which they believe to be the origin of the fire. Fortunately, the fire was almost out by the time the firefighters arrived, and they successfully extinguished the remaining flames.

The school building's facade and windows were damaged by soot, but thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Moreover, no firefighters were injured during the extinguishing efforts.

The fire department's investigation revealed no evidence of an explosive device or incendiary material, and they found no signs of arson. However, two unidentified individuals were seen fleeing the scene of the fire, and the police are currently searching for them.

The cost of repairs to the school building's facade and windows is currently unknown. The school remains closed for repairs and investigations, and further investigations into the incident are being led by a fire detective unit of the state criminal police office.

The police are also investigating the cause of the fire, with the fire detective unit of the state criminal police office taking the lead. The arson presumably took place at the Neue Oberschule located on Caasmannstraße, and the investigation to find the arsonist is being conducted by specialized units of the state fire brigade and police.

The public is asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. More updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
