Scooter rider absconds following crash within pedestrian-restricted area.
In the pedestrian zone of Münsterstraße in Warendorf, a hit-and-run traffic accident occurred on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 8:30 pm. The Warendorf Police are seeking information about the unknown teenage E-scooter rider involved in the accident.
The perpetrator was an unknown teenager riding an E-scooter with a passenger. The E-scooter was traveling through a busy pedestrian zone, heading towards Krickmarkt. The teenager collided with a group of pedestrians, resulting in two slightly injured individuals.
The injured pedestrians, a 61-year-old from Ennigerloh and a 31-year-old from Ahlen, sought medical treatment on their own accord after the accident. The exact details of their injuries have not been disclosed.
